Absentee is easy

Since it seems such a problem for a lot of people to go to the voting place and wait for a long time, why don’t you do what I did? Apply to vote by mail.

It’s simple and easy.

Security just a ruse

I am so mad another privacy right taken away, in the name of protecting us.

I went to the movies on Saturday with my family and they stopped me and my daughter to have us open our purses to check for weapons.

They did not check my husband’s pockets or my son’s pockets, which were about the same size as my purse.

They told us it was because of the Colorado theater shooting, and that there have been three copycats stopped since the incident. The shooter came in the exit, not the front door. I think I should have the choice to risk my life in a theater.

This is just a ploy to see if people are bringing in food to avoid buying food from their overpriced snack bar (water $4.75 a bottle, when if they had a fountain, it would be free).

They say copycat incidents, I am a news junkie and I have only read about a guy on twitter.

I will rent my movies on pay per view or the Red Box. I hope the theaters go broke.

My purse could be checked everywhere I go as a potential hiding spot for a weapon: the gym, the market, my work.

Please, let me decide if I want to take the risk of a madman killing me at a public venue, not the business or company protecting me, which is just a ruse.
